GOP double games

The Southern Leftist informs us that GOP "double game" tactics are once again in effect:

Bobby Jindal is now running attack ads on black radio against John Georges and Walter Boasso criticizing them for donating to George Bush. I shit you not. Jindal is trying to link his opponents to Bush to depress black turnout.

This is what happens when a rather naive individual's campaign is staffed, funded and co-opted by national GOP forces. The playbook is to turn out the white "base", and de-energize or mislead African-American voters (rather than make an honest appeal to them, as Jindal did four years ago).

I think you're being overly charitable to Jindal. He's a hustler and hustlers do what it takes to win.

yo i half-heard this ad at work yesterday and i thought it was from foster cambell's people. that would seem more logical to me.

was it really from jindal's camp?

shouldn't the relatively conservative boasso and georges be hammering away at him for bashing the president and not supporting our troops and being a terrorist and eating puppies?

if jindal really did that ad, he ought to be getting destroyed right now amongst louisiana conservatives that are wary that his skin color makes him some sort of terrorist to begin with....

not saying it's right, but isn't that one would anticipate happening?
