Thanks to Chris Cillizza
Several unmentionable peasant bloggers on my sidebar have asked me how it feels to be nationally recognized as "the best". Well, I got to tell y'all-- it feels good. Real good. Actually, it feels even better than real good, it feels tremendous . Why? Because being one of Louisiana's premier bloggers of "influence" opens all kinds of doors. For starters, I'm expecting an invitation to a private dinner with the Governor any day now.

I don't know if you are interested but the Democratic National Committee is credentialing (sp?) bloggers to go on the convention floor in Denver and blog from whatever state delegation they are covering. It's worth publicizing among the NOLA blogosphere if anyone wants to go to Denver and blog a political convention.

Deadline to apply is April 15.

Mazel tov, you treif thing, you!
So my reference to you as a "legend" was pretty accurate huh?
Congrats!

Yes, a "legend". Like Billie Jean.
Don't forget who's been keeping your coattails free of dust.
It is well deserved. Also, fair is fair!
The Wa-Po loves Nice Tits
Yes. It's precisely that sort of hard-hitting coverage of state politics that makes YRHT the "Best".
Still one of my favorite post titles.

Way to go Oyster! Be sure to tell Bobby "hey" for me.

Wow, I feel honored to even comment. I guess you'll be making the big bucks from now on.
Congrats, Oyster! If you will just post a couple of articles to the effect that Bobby Jindal is God's greatest gift ever to Louisiana, you just might get an invitation to the mansion :-)
