None of the big bloggers seem to recall that this tasteless button mocking Obama's skin color at the Texas GOP state convention was based on a "joke" told by a conservative Colorado businessman [and Republican donor and Chairman of Centennial Bank] earlier this year. It bombed, and the businessman was forced to apologize. (Btw, I wonder where he first heard it?)
Perhaps it's just a joke in search of an audience.
I'm sure GOP conventions will market similar pins about Jindal in 2012. Right? Or perhaps the LA GOP could get out front on the "issue", and start marketing pins that ask "Now that Jindal is governor, will we start calling the capital city 'Sepia Stick'?"
Because, you know, it's all in good fun. No one really cares about skin color anymore, but it's just so darn funny to some people.
I wonder why?

Sepia Stick is good...personally, I was thinking "Red Stickistan," but I guess that's just me...
But he's not a Pakistani, right? Granted, his name is actually PIYUSH, but that's Indian. What I love is the self-loathing racism that ALWAYS keeps his DAD out of camera range, but his very pale ('upper-caste') mother and wife are always FRONT AND CENTER.
And what's sad is, his dad is TWENTY TIMES MORE HANDSOME THAN ERKEL THE NEXT GENERATION WILL ***EVER*** BE. Ugliest motherfucker of any color, from anywhere, that I've seen since Jim Rose's Circus Sideshow last passed through.
And Mister Lifto would be better-equipped to handle DHH, for damned sure.
As to why idiotic crackers think that racist jokes are just "so darn funny" --- small minds, small peckers (and pecker envy), small sighted, small, small, small. That's all that they've got, to say that they're "better" than somebody, by pure dint of happenstance and melanin.
But if there are bigoted jokes made about Piyush, I doubt that they'll have ANYTHING to do with "penis envy," from what I've seen of him, his mannerisms, his class-warfare compulsions, etc. HE has much envy, this we know, but we don't wanna know exactly HOW MUCH he has been deprived, 'cause I could never touch Indian food again without that image flashing into my head and killing my appetite permanently.
