Simple answers to simple questions
In stunning fashion, Atrios bobbled the punchline
to a "Simple Answers to Simple Questions" post.
Since YRHT has shamelessly appropriated Atrios' "SASQ"
blog idea for its own ends, we will endeavor to remind the master exactly how it's done.
Former National Review
writer Jonathan Martin asks:
Is John McCain Ronald Reagan or Bob Dole?
He's Bob Dole.
This has been another edition of simple answers to simple questions.
Without the Viagra.
I dunno--I'm pretty well stumped as to why anyone would publish Gregg Easterbrook, too. Oh, sure, I read his football columns for a while, but they began to get really, REALLY boring well before his "the Jews control Hollywood" crack.
That said, I appreciate his description of SUVs as FUVs. I assume that's original, though I've never bothered to look it up.
But that's a pretty small drop in an ocean of tedium.
I think Rush was referring to this:
Iowa is a mortal lock for Obama. I'm totally confident in him picking up that state.
He'll win it-- not by landslide margins... but he'll win it.
Michael writes: "I dunno--I'm pretty well stumped as to why anyone would publish Gregg Easterbrook, too."
But then it isn't an SASQ.
Ah, I see--a matter of definition as opposed to Easterbrook's, um, qualifications.
Dole? Even if he would have favored the wealthy, at least Dole would have governed competently. McCain is Ted Stevens of Alaska, on a good day.
